Annual Multi-trip Travel Insurance

Direct Line Annual Multi-trip Travel Insurance allows you to take multiple trips over the course of a year, without having to renew your policy each time you go. Great news if you like to take weekend European city breaks for example, split your holiday entitlement up over the year, have a holiday home abroad or travel for work. You are covered for all your trips as long as no single trip lasts for more than 42 days and you do not exceed more than 120 days away in total each year.

In case of loss or theft while on holiday, your Annual Multi-trip Travel Insurance policy covers you for personal possessions up to £1,500 per person and personal money up to £500. In the event of an accident or health emergency, it also includes medical and emergency expenses abroad up to £5 million per person and cancellation and curtailment to £5,000 in case your trip is cut short. Your policy also covers you for personal accident, personal liability, delayed departure, loss of passport and legal assistance. Direct Line cannot prevent loss, accidents or delays happening but we can help take some of the stress away – especially good news for frequent travellers with increased exposure to travel-related incidents.

Direct Line’s Annual Multi-trip Travel Insurance also covers you for essential replacement of items, abandoned journeys and, if selected, winter sports cover which covers you if you are going skiing or snowboarding. You can also request cover for winter sports equipment, piste closure, ski pass and fees. Your Annual Multi-trip Travel Insurance can also include more than one person. Whoever is named on your policy can then travel independently of you – for example if your children are going off on school trips. Multi-trip policies can also be specified to a certain geographical area, such as Europe.
